Rachel has served Chapel of the Cross since 2025. As Ministry Coordinator, she assists the pastors in equipping members to be Christ’s hands and feet in their homes, the church, and the broader community. She serves on all three ministry councils, participating in the planning and implementation of ministry opportunities that require additional assistance beyond the capacity of other team members. Growing up, her family was deeply rooted in the church, with her father serving as an LCMS pastor and her mother as an LCMS teacher. Rachel graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska, with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a Director of Christian Education Specialist Degree. She previously served in ministry for several years, first as a Director of Christian Education and later as a teacher. After taking a brief break to start a non-profit and pursue digital marketing, God led her back to full-time ministry. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with family and watching as much Cardinals Baseball as possible.
