Pastor Hoehner has served Chapel of the Cross since 2002. Hailing from Wisconsin and Michigan, he remains an avid Detroit and Michigan sports fan. Pastor Mark earned his undergraduate degree in education from Concordia University Wisconsin. He then completed his Master of Divinity and doctorate in Old Testament studies at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. He and his wife, Erin, are blessed with three sons: Micah, Isaiah, and Asher. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, reading the Bible with a good cup of coffee, and working on his book series, Knowing God Knowing Me, which focuses on seeing Jesus’ love throughout all of Scripture.
