Worship Services
Sundays 8 am & 10:15 am
Mondays 7 pm
Wednesdays 11 am
This service is slightly shorter–about half an hour in length – and has different readings and sermon than on the weekend.
Second Sunday each month at 10:30 am in Room 224.
Ephphatha means be opened. We offer this service for individuals and families with special needs.
The mission of the “E-Service” at Chapel of the Cross is to create a worship environment that fosters understanding and appreciation for fellow Christians with special needs, and to provide full access to Jesus Christ through God’s Word and participation in the service. This is an interactive worship service designed for individuals with special needs, their families, and their friends.
On the Sundays when there is no E-Service, we encourage our families with special needs to worship together with the entire congregation in the sanctuary.
Parking and Where to Go
Chapel of the Cross is located at 907 Jungermann Rd, St. Peters, MO. Our campus is conveniently situated at the intersection of Jungermann and Willott Roads, directly behind Walgreens.
Our spacious parking lot encircles the entire campus for easy access.
Use either the Main Entrance or the Lower-Level Entrance to get to the Sanctuary.
Main Entrance (Front lots)
If you park in the upper or lower front lots, you will see the main entrance marked by a fountain. Enter these doors, and one of our friendly ushers or pastors will greet you. The primary worship space (Sanctuary) is located directly ahead.
Lower-Level Entrance (back lots)
If you park around the back, you can use the lower-level entry. As you enter, make your way straight ahead through that lobby to find a staircase and elevator. Take the elevator to Level 2 (or use the stairs), and turn left to locate our Sanctuary.
Sunday School & Bible Study
Every Sunday at 9:15 AM, we offer Bible study and Sunday School opportunities for all ages. Classes and studies are located primarily on the lower level of our building.
Need Directions to Class? If you enter through the main doors, ushers or pastors will be able to direct you. If you enter the lower lobby, our Sunday School Superintendent or staff will guide you to the correct classroom.
Adults
We typically offer at least two different Bible study options.
Nursery
A staffed nursery is available for children under 3 years old during Sunday School.
Preschool – 5th Grade
Children participate in a brief opening and songs before being dismissed to their age-appropriate classrooms.
Youth (6th – 12th Grade)
Dedicated classrooms for youth to connect and study God’s Word.
Children In Worship
We believe children are not just the future of the church—they are the church right now!
We encourage children to be active participants in worship and recognize that a noisy church is a living and active church!
Church Bags
To support “parenting in the pew,” children may pick up a Church Bag just left of the main Sanctuary doors. Bags include coloring, worship-engagement activities for older children, and supportive items for children with special needs.
Family Room / Nursing Mothers
If your child needs a place to move, settle, or take a break, our Family Room is located in our Coffee Shop area. It provides windows overlooking the altar and pulpit, with audio from the service, ensuring you don’t miss any part of the worship experience.
Children’s Messages
We include a regular Children’s Message in our services, and we encourage them to come forward for this special time built just for them to hear God’s love in Jesus.
