Art and the Bible – Led by Pastor Hoehner – Sanctuary

Join us as we look at famous, or maybe not so famous, works of art that depict Biblical passages and or Biblical messages. As we look at both art and God’s Words we will see how the two can impact one’s perspective of God and the World and strengthen one’s faith in Jesus as the true Savior of the World.

The Quiet Ambition – Led by Vicar Alex Uttley – Room 224
Do you ever wonder whether your life really matters? In a world that tells us to make a name for ourselves, accomplish more, and make a difference, it is easy to become restless and stressed or to simply give up. But Scripture offers a surprising antidote to our restless lives: “Make it your ambition to live quietly” (1 Thessalonians 4:11).
Based on Ryan Tinetti’s book The Quiet Ambition, we will explore how our lives can matter deeply in God’s kingdom. Together, we will consider what it means to live quietly, tend our own business, work with our hands, and walk gracefully toward our neighbors. Come discover how the ordinary, faithful lives we live each day are not insignificant in God’s hands. In the Lord, your labor is not in vain!
