The Now But Not Yet Tension Of Being a Christian In A Fallen World – Led by Pastor Hoehner
Have you ever found yourself in awe of the beauty of creation and then catch yourself so frustrated with the tragic condition of humanity? Do you ever catch yourself dreaming of a place with no more war or fighting or stress, and then find yourself restless not being able to fall asleep because of a torn
relationship or worry over a loved one’s health condition? Come discuss many of our already true but not fully realized promises we have in Jesus Christ.

How to Know a Person – Led by Pastor James
In his bestselling book How to Know a Person, David Brooks explores one of the greatest needs of our time: learning how to truly see, understand, and care for another human being. While the book isn’t written as a Christian study, it raises questions that Scripture has been answering all along. What does it mean to love our neighbor? How do we become better listeners? What keeps us from truly seeing the people God places in our lives? And how does the love of Christ transform the way we relate to others? In this Bible study, we’ll use Brooks’ insights as a conversation starter while grounding our discussions in God’s Word. Together, we’ll explore what the Bible teaches about empathy, compassion, forgiveness, humility, hospitality, and genuine relationships. Most importantly, we’ll discover that before we are called to know others, we are first fully known and deeply loved by God through Jesus Christ.
